Vehicle Transport Gap Coverage

How to get your AFta PLAN Gap Coverage for car shipping

The AFta PLAN subscription can either be purchased through an agent or privately.

AN AGENCY SUBSCRIPTION

This is the preferred way to purchase a PLAN. An agent, who normally also acts as your car shipping broker or carrier, has detailed knowledge of your shipment. Should damage occur, they will work with you to try and settle it first through the carrier’s insurance. Your AFta agent will also provide answers to questions you may have regarding your AFta PLAN claim.

You will also save on the subscription price by signing up through an agency. If your auto transport provider is not an agent, we encourage all shippers to approach them to register so that they may get the AFta PLAN subscription rate cheaper and receive full service and support in case of a damage claim.

A PRIVATE OR DIRECT SUBSCRIPTION

Everyone shipping a vehicle should have gap coverage. If a car shipping provider is not a registered agent, you have the option of purchasing a subscription without going through an agent. You will have full access to all information and benefits that agency subscribers have.

NEXT STEPS – HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE PLAN

Contact your auto transport provider first to enquire if they are an AFta PLAN agency. If they are, your agent will purchase your subscription on your behalf. If they are not agents, you can register as a “New Subscriber” by clicking the New Subscriber Sign Up button below..

We Strongly recommend you ship your vehicle with a broker that offers the AFta PLAN
